Bird Walks – Saturday 1 June 2019
See and hear the variety of birds along the creek valleys in the Field of Mars.
Pittwater Rd Gladesville
Bring your own binoculars if you have them; a limited supply may be available to borrow. Walks will be easy grade, 1 – 1½ hours’ duration.
On Saturday 1 June you are invited to meet the birdlife of the Field of Mars Reserve on walks guided by Cathy Goswell of the Cumberland Bird Observers Club, and hosted by the Ryde-Hunters Hill Flora and Fauna Preservation Society. Departure times: 8.30am and 10.30am from the Visitor Centre in the Reserve.
Please bring water, closed shoes and a hat. Children aged 5-12 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Donations are welcome to meet refreshment costs.

Main entry to the Reserve is from Pittwater Road, opposite Buffalo Creek Reserve. There is a carpark outside the gate, under the aquaduct. Additional entrances are at the end of Kennedy St, Westminster Rd and Monash Rd.
